Attend Workshop for Onion and Garlic value chains.
Dear All.
You are invited to participate in a Stakeholders’ Workshop for Onion and Garlic value chains on Thursday, 5th February, 2015 at Lush Garden hotel, located at Sakina, Arusha.
About the workshop; The objective of the workshop is to share and discuss results of an Onion and Garlic value chain study that was commissioned by Trias Tanzania, AgriProFocus Tanzania and TAHA and thereafter, work out some follow up interventions with stakeholders.
About the study; The study identifies the obstacles and opportunities in the Onion and Garlic value chains and provides recommendations on how to improve the functioning of the value chains and increase fair returns for all main actors, it was conducted in Monduli district (Arusha region), Mbulu and Hanang districts (Manyara region).
AgriProFocus will provide the necessary workshop materials together with tea and lunch during the workshop and requests participants to meet their transport and accommodation costs to and from the workshop.
